Target groups of the Project: Ukrainian nationals, Civil society organisations, displaced persons from Ukraine.
The project will contribute to strengthening the capacities of local civil society and local authorities, of judicial and administrative system’s capacity to respond to the needs of the displaced persons, enhancing at the same time the awareness of displaced persons in relation to their rights and obligations.
The project will address the needs of displaced persons through creating a regional network of Ukrainian nationals serving as opinion leaders who will engage in facilitation of access to justice and legal remedies, including in the context of temporary protection measures, for their co-nationals.
CDA will also use its network of civil society organizations at the sub-national level and will capacitate 5 more organizations working at the regional level to become providers of accurate legal services for displaced persons.
Within the project CDA will assess potential legal barriers on the efficiency of the temporary protection system for displaced people and will elaborate and disseminate guidelines covering the main national legislation requirements as well as the areas tackled by the temporary protection mechanism.
