In implementing this project, HEKS/EPER is partnering with three local partners CASMED, Pro Cooperare Regionala (PROCORE), Centrul de Drept al Avocatilor (CDA).
The first component, related to food security and livelihoods activities, will be implemented in collaboration with CASMED and PROCORE.
Within the project implementation, CDA will be primarily responsible for preventing gender-based violence towards girls, women and their children, with particular attention to refugees having specific needs and those from marginalized groups.
CDA will also provide information about legal protection mechanisms and referral pathways for individuals when needed and requested.
CDA is to organize information and awareness-raising sessions on GBV, as well as on protection mechanisms from human trafficking for refugees and those in local communities. The project also foresees that CDA will organize on these topics trainings for social workers, will produce videos, develop posters and leaflets.
