The stateless status applicant has the right to reside in the Republic of Moldova during the stateless status determination procedure and is entitled to work.
The therm of examining the application for stateless status may take up to 12 months from the date of its registration.
The Republic of Moldova offers recognised stateless persons all the rights enjoyed by its citizens, except for the rights expressly granted only to citizens (ex. the right to vote, the right to hold certain positions).
