The mobile team, including representatives of CDA, UN Refugee Agency, INTERSOS Moldova, visited the village of Palanca for the sixth time in two months, visiting villages in the district of Stefan Voda where refugees are hosted.
The meetings in the territory are attended by refugees, representatives of local authorities, social workers, who receive legal and informational advice on various issues related to asylum procedures, statelessness, humanitarian protection.
The meeting in Palanca was attended by more than 25 people, among the topics discussed were issues related to asylum status, statelessness, changes related to Cash Assistance, children in the educational process, conditions for resettlement in other countries. A question-and-answer session with social workers followed.
In Palanca, an area bordering the border with Ukraine, a large number of refugees have settled, including many men. The refugees are supported by community members. They help a local church make food for refugees from Ukraine.
