The CDA legal adviser Viorica Chirnicinîi requested the involvement of some organizations and institutions to support the families of ethnic Roma refugees from Ukraine, temporarily settled in the village of Logănești, Hîncești. They called on the help of our colleague to get firewood, household appliances, articles of daily necessity.
Viorica Chirnicini forwarded the request in question to the representatives of the Center for Roma Rights in Moldova (CDRM), and on September 19, the executive director of the organization, Ion Bucur, visited the village of Logănești, met with the refugees and was informed about their priority needs.
The representatives of the Center for Roma Rights from Moldova thanked for the fact that they were informed about the problems faced by Roma refugees. The executive director of CDRM, Ion Bucur, said that he highly appreciates CDA’s activity, including support for ethnic Roma refugees.
Ion Bucur showed interest in continuing the close collaboration with CDA and Viorica Chirnicinîi, agreeing that the next joint activity would be a visit to one of the localities in Hîncești district, where Roma refugees are also housed.
