Five NGOs will strengthen their legal skills to provide timely responses to the needs of people from socially vulnerable groups, including refugees and host communities.
These are:
☑ “Anima Training and Personal Development Centre” in Balti,
☑ “Dacia Youth Resource Centre” in Soroca,
☑ “Vesta” in Comrat,
☑ “Pas cu Pas South Region” in Cahul,
☑ “South Cooperation Centre” in Causeni.
Capacity building of non-governmental organisations will be done with the support of the Law Centre of Advocates (CDA), within the project ” Enhancing access to justice for living in dignity”, implemented by UNDP Moldova, funded by Germany.
On 28 July the first meeting of the representatives of the five NGOs with the CDA team members took place, where the objectives and activities of the project were presented, as well as the way of working together.
The participants were also introduced to the field of asylum, what are the principles of refugee protection and forms of protection, particularities of temporary refugee protection.
The Law Centre of Advocates will also create a communication platform for Ukrainian refugees, which will facilitate access to justice, including in the context of temporary protection measures.
