The Lawyers’ Law Centre concluded three cooperation agreements – with the Directorate of Social Assistance and Family Protection Causeni, with the district libraries Causeni and Stefan Voda.
The agreements provide for the parties to collaborate by mutually supporting activities to promote the rights of refugees, beneficiaries of international protection, applicants for stateless status and stateless persons, as well as foreigners undergoing integration procedures in the Republic of Moldova.
The two libraries will provide the CDA’ lawyers with premises where the organisation’s employees will be able to provide legal advice to beneficiaries. The libraries will also host events for refugees from Ukraine, supporting their integration into local communities, initiated by CDA partners, with the direct participation of CDA lawyers.
At the same time, members of the CDA team will provide local authorities in Causeni with legal advice and counselling on refugee and stateless persons law issues.
