CDA team members joined the 2024 edition of the National Afforestation Campaign. On November 16, the day it was kicked off, employees of the association, together with relatives and friends, planted about 5000 acacia and willow saplings near the village of Logănești, Hâncești.
By planting trees on a sloping ground with a risk of landslides, we have not only helped to afforest the area, but also to prevent further soil degradation in the area.
CDA has contributed to the restoration and expansion of green spaces for a clean and healthy environment, a greener and more resilient Moldova, a more secure future.
The participants in the action were guided by employees of the Logănești Forestry Office of the State Enterprise “Hâncești Silva”, who prepared the land for planting and the necessary tools, which considerably facilitated the afforestation work.
The actions of the current campaign, under the slogan “Forest Generation”, are part of the National Program for the Expansion and Rehabilitation of Forests, which provides for the regeneration and creation of new green spaces on 145 thousand hectares of land over the next 10 years.
