Refugees, different categories of foreigners now benefit from more useful information on access to health care, employment, right to education, residence regime on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, prevention and fight against discrimination.
In the framework of the project “Improving access to justice to live in dignity”, implemented by UNDP Moldova with the financial support of Germany, Centrul de Drept al Avocaților has developed and distributed four information guides and a leaflet. They are in Russian language to facilitate access to information for different categories of foreigners, beneficiaries of humanitarian and temporary protection, asylum seekers and stateless persons in our country.
The guide “Доступ иностранцев и лиц без гражданства к системе обязательного медицинского страхования в Республике Молдова” includes an overview of the mandatory health insurance system in our country, information for different categories of foreigners on access to health services and the steps they need to take to enjoy their right to health. Contact details of institutions and organisations they can turn to in case of need are also provided.
The guide “Пособие по трудоустройству иностранных граждан на территории Республики Молдова” contains information on the conditions, procedures and documents required for the employment of foreigners with the right of temporary/permanent residence, as well as foreigners who are in the Republic of Moldova based on a short or long-term visa. The guide also contains information on the right to work of refugees and beneficiaries of humanitarian and temporary protection, asylum seekers and stateless persons.
The guide “Язык вражды и дискриминация в отношении иностранцев и беженцев” provides details on the notions of discrimination, including racial discrimination, hate speech, xenophobia, how these can manifest themselves and where foreigners can turn if they become victims of these phenomena.
The guide “Права на образование, на охрану здоровья, законное представительство детей с той или иной формой защиты в Республике Молдова” contains information on the steps to be taken by parents, legal representatives, guardians for the enrolment of children with a form of protection on the territory of the Republic of Moldova in a school or pre-school institution. The guide also includes information on access to medical services for this category of children, the procedure for registering with the family doctor. Legal representation of children with a form of protection is another section of the guide.
The leaflet “Режим пребывания в Республике Молдова граждан Украины” contains information on the conditions for long-term and short-term legal residence of Ukrainian citizens in the Republic of Moldova, what they need to know to comply with the legal residence regime, the sanctions applied in case of ignoring these rules.
